Returning 2023 dockers will have until March 15 to be able to select their new dock first-come, first-served. After this date, any new dockers will be able to choose any dock that they would like.
Docks paid in full by March 15 will receive a $20 discount.
Docks can be put on a payment plan of three equal payments, with the full balance due no later than May 15. A credit card is required and payment will be run automatically at predetermined dates.
DOCK RENTAL SEASON – The dock season shall commence on April 15 (assuming the weather allows) and expire on October 15. The marina assumes no responsibility whatsoever for boats remaining in the water past October 15.
SUB-LEASING – Sub-leasing, or renting of any dock is not permitted. Guests of dockers are welcome when the boat owner is present. This rule is for the purpose of protecting the property and privacy of all boat owners.
CARPET ON DOCKS – Dockers are encouraged to use dock bumpers to protect their boat. Carpeting, tires, or any other fixture that must be fastened to the dock is not allowed. No tires will be allowed to be attached to the docks. Caution should always be used whenever the docks or piers are wet.
SWIMMING IN THE DOCKING AREA – No swimming in the docking areas will be allowed. It is very dangerous and against Ohio law. Common sense should indicate why this is not allowed.
FISH CLEANING – Fish cleaning will not be allowed on any of the docks or anywhere on the marina property.
DOG AND CATS – Dogs, cats, and any other exotic animals are allowed on marina property, only if on a leash. We are insisting upon your cooperation with this. Please respect our request with this rule.
TRASH – Trash is expensive, unsightly, and difficult to control. Please dispose of your litter properly. Please use trash bags whenever possible.
CHILDREN – Children are welcome at the marina, but they must be carefully supervised by their parents or guardians. Any damage to marina property will be billed to the parents or guardian. Children under 18 years of age will not be permitted to occupy the parents’ or guardians’ boat in the absence of parent or guardian.
BIKES, MOPEDS,AND MOTORCYCLES – Two-wheeled vehicles (pedal and gas powered) are not allowed on the docks.
CARS – We ask that you park close together and in line with other cars to maximize parking. Cars with boat trailers attached must park in designated areas. See the marina manager for designated area.
BOAT MOORING AND HANDLING – Any damage to bump boards or floating docks resulting from careless boat mooring or improper handling will be repaired at the boat owner’s expense.
BOAT WAKE – No boat wake anywhere in the docking areas. Wake is the wave action created by your boat moving through the water. This wake can cause damage to other boats, shore erosion and heated tempers. You are responsible for your boat’s wake.
YOUNG PEOPLE’S BOATS – Non-registered inflatables or any small floatable devices utilized by small children (or adults) will not be allowed in the docking area. There have been many near accidents involving small boats in and around the other larger boats within marinas. We have, therefore, taken this action to protect your children, and boaters, from this potential tragedy.
BOAT LENGTH – No boat shall be moored so that any protrusion of the boat will extend into or over main dock areas. (i.e. bow pulpits).
BOARDING STEPS – No boarding steps may be used on finger docks without the consent of the dock partner. No boarding steps or anything else may be bolted or screwed through the dock deck surface.
DOCK ASSIGNMENT – The marina shall retain the right to designate dock spaces. Every effort shall be made to assign the boat owner the dock space of their choice; however, the rights of the boat owners and the management’s business judgement shall also be relevant factors in the assignment of dock spaces.
EMERGENCIES – In an emergency situation, the marina shall be permitted to move the boat owner’s unattended boat to a safer location if possible. However, the marina shall not be required to provide the service. In the event such service is provided, the boat owner will hold the marina safe and harmless from any and all liability, injury, loss or damage caused by or resulting to the boat owner’s boat due to an emergency situation.
FISHING REGULATIONS – Fishing from docks is prohibited. You may fish from your boat while at the dock. Shoreline fishing is permitted only in designated areas. Ask marina manager for designated locations.
QUIET HOURS – Quiet hours must be observed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Please respect the privacy of others and observe these hours.
TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT -If the boat owner violates any of the terms and conditions contained in this agreement, or those posted in the marina office, the marina shall have the option of terminating this agreement upon ten (10) days written notice to the boat owner. The boat owner must remove their boat from the marina prior to the end of the ten (l0) day period or the marina reserves the right to remove the boat from the water and/or storage and charge all applicable fees at prevailing rates.
